I am a "mature" woman. <who, like wine, improves with age>

And I am definitely not a wine drinker, but somehow I had collected 1000s of wine corks (thank you, <wino> family and friends). So, I started crafting with the corks. It started with simple trivets to more complex wreaths and to "coffee" tables for my family & friends to gather around.

I had no clue corks came in so many different shapes, designs, and materials. <Sorry environmentalists, but> I am a "real" cork snob and appreciate the wineries that put some thought and effort into designing cool and appealing <and "real"> corks.

Originally, this website started as a personal tool for when I was at the store looking for "real" corks. Then it grew to having a following of  people looking for "real" corks or real crafts to make with corks.
